Alcaraz is out for revenge after losing his last two meetings with Djokovic, at this year’s Australian Open quarter-finals and last season’s Olympics final.

Novak Djokovic (7) beat Taylor Fritz (4) 6-3, 7-5, 3-6, 6-4 to advance to another U.S. Open semifinal, where he will face Carlos Alcaraz (2).

Djokovic improved to 11-0 against 2024 runner-up Fritz and reached a record-extending 53rd Grand Slam semifinal, a total that includes a record-tying 14 at Flushing Meadows.
