NVIDIA has finally released an overhaul to its GeForce Experience and Control Panel apps with the new NVIDIA App combining the features of both.
Nvidia is moving away from its traditional software interfaces, the GeForce Experience app and the Nvidia Control Panel, in favor of a new unified application called the Nvidia app.
NVIDIA remembers that the GeForce Experience app exists, deploys first update in 7 months. Really though, it's a reminder to jump to the NVIDIA App.
This migration strategy suggests that GeForce Experience and the Control Panel will be deprecated once the Nvidia app is fully operational.
All of the features of GeForce Experience will port over to Nvidia app and, in time, Nvidia intends to deprecate the longstanding Nvidia Control Panel and subsume its features into Nvidia app, too.
NVIDIA Control Panel will not be going away any time soon. In fact, while the new NVIDIA App is in beta, both NVIDIA Control Panel and GeForce Experience will continue to be available.
If you have been waiting for Nvidia to make an app that not only merges Control Panel and GeForce Experience but also allows you to modify game and driver settings, your prayers have been answered.
