To create a live hyperlink in an Access 2010 text box, you must change the data type of the field.

There are a number of ways to add a search feature, but a text box or a combo box in the header is one of the simplest to create and implement. The first step isn’t revamping the form though.

Click the Text Box control in the Controls toolbox (Access 2003) or the Controls group (Access 2007). Click and drag to create an unbound text control below the first text box.
