Microsoft and Canonical announced support for Microsoft SQL Server with Ubuntu Pro on Microsoft Azure. The support helps deliver a cost-effective solution for enterprise data management.

SQL Server Canonical and Microsoft have teamed up to support Ubuntu with Microsoft SQL Server both for on-premises systems and images available through the Azure Marketplace.
