If you have the injectors out already you do have to reassemble the valve rockers and set the lash before you can run the compression test. Why are you swapping the injectors? If the second test reads higher that the first test, there is some blowby going on. The oil acts as a seal around the rings and helps improve compression. Another way to check it is with a leakdown compression tester.
