Awhile back I did a list of the top four fruits I wanted to try and ackees were number two- I finally got my hands on fresh ones 🥹❤️🫶🏻 These are the National fruit of Jamaica! A huge thank you to everyone who gave me directions on how to prepare these. Ackees cannot be eaten raw and the shells/ seeds are not edible. They smell and taste a lot like peanuts to me.
