Today we honor and remember SFC Matthew McClintock October 10, 1985 – January 5, 2016 SFC Matthew McClintock died of wounds received in action, 5 January 2016, in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, in support of Operation FREEDOM’S SENTINEL. He was assigned to Company A, 1st Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group, Buckley, Washington, in which he served until his death.
