‘Is the clay centred?’, ‘How do I know if the clay is centred?’, ‘Is it centred now?’… My response; ‘You’ll know when the clay is centred, you’ll be able to feel it.’ Once you feel the clay stop resisting and running smooth between your fingertips, you’ll know it’s centred. Try not looking at the clay while centering and focus on how it feels.
