Eastern American Toad just before release. When the toad was rescued by a wonderful 16 year old, she noticed an air-sac injury and brought the toad to our center for rehab. Thanks to the young lady the toad recovered. If you find a frog or toad, never handle them unless you wear gloves, since the oils on our skin can be absorbed by the frog, causing them health issues.
