A man on California's death row has died while incarcerated at a Sacramento-area prison, state officials said on Thursday.
Armando Macias was condemned to death in 2011 following his conviction for first-degree murder in a murder-for-hire plot.
James Broadnax's execution date is scheduled for April 30 in the state of Texas.
