The Saguaro fruit harvest is a tradition continued on by generations of Tohono O'odham. One of the amazing women of this generation carrying on that tradition is Tanisha Tucker Lohse. She continues to help educate and teach others about this practice and is an integral part of the local community in the Nation and here in Tucson. A huge thank you to Tanisha, Maria (who you get to meet tomorrow), and everyone at the harvest camp that have welcomed us and shared their knowledge and friendship 🌵❤️
