A lot of treats marketed for rabbits contain added sugar, honey, molasses, yoghurt drops, and seed mixes. These might look cute and “natural”, but they’re actually not healthy for rabbits. Rabbits have a very delicate digestive system designed for high-fibre foods like hay and leafy greens. Sugary treats and seeds can cause serious problems like: • Digestive upset • Weight gain and obesity • Dental issues • Increased risk of gut stasis (which can be life-threatening) Seeds are also difficult for
